Broom Snailda

Broom-Snailda is a hand-drawn, hand-painted greeting card, left blank on the inside for your inner bard to have its say.
Broom-Snailda was inspired by the American newspaper comic strip created by Russell Myers, which was introduced in 1970. My Broom-Snailda is more refined in her tastes. Broomie (as her friends call her), prefers wine over beer, can’t care less about finding a husband, doesn’t smoke, and never wears pins in her hair. All that being said, Ms. Snailda (as most humans are to address her, unless they’d prefer to live out their days as the slime in her wake) is quite fond of time travel, shapeshifting, and all manner of witchy pursuits.
After doodling Broom-Snailda in pen I scanned her to my computer, printed her out on 100% recycled cardstock, and then I hand painted her. Just for you. Every card will be a little different.
Broom-Snailda is part of the greeting card line, Cards for a Gloomy Day. Although Cards for a Gloomy Day’s color of choice is gray, we are a Green company. All of our products are Hand Drawn with Gloom and printed on 5″ x 7″ light gray colored, 90lb. cover stock that is 100% post consumer recycled fiber, processed chlorine free, and Green-e Certified (manufactured using renewable energy). All of our cards come with a pepper gray envelope that is made of 100% recycled content Kraft Paper. Individual cards come in a clear cello wrapper that contains 10% recycled polypropylene and are 100% recyclable as well as acid and lignin free. We also recycle our ink cartridges. Pretty cool, eh?
