This ornament was made in tribute and respect to political and satire artist Jose Guadalupe Posada in the spirit of Dia de los Muertos- Day of The Dead. Calaveras don’t just come out to play on Dia de los Muertos, they celebrate every day too! Featured image is titled “Heurtas”.

The ornament created from an ink jet reproduction of the vintage image. Made from recycled cardboard, Bright green paper on front black paper on the back. Image is edged in bright orange, black and purple ultra fine glitter. The image has been dusted and outlined in ghostly sugary iridescent powder glitter. The ornament is edged top and bottom with orange festooning tissue and cellophane fringe. The side edges are coated in black ultrafine glitter. Hanger is black double-faced satin ribbon.
